Become a Volunteer

AIA Chattanooga and The Hip Hop Architecture Camp are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for volunteers to join us for the upcoming Chattanooga Hip Hop Architecture Camp!

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to help us introduce youth to the fascinating world of architecture through the dynamic lens of hip hop culture. Volunteers will play a crucial role in guiding students through each day's activities, fostering creativity, collaboration, and inspiration.

Here's what we need:

  • Monday: Physical Model Volunteers will assist students in creating physical models, helping them bring their architectural visions to life in tangible form.

  • Tuesday: 3D Model Volunteers will guide students through the intricacies of 3D modeling, providing support and encouragement as they navigate digital design tools. Please note, we prefer architects only on this day.

  • Wednesday: Rap Cypher Volunteers with a passion for music and lyricism will facilitate rap cypher sessions, empowering students to express themselves through the art of rhyme.

  • Thursday: Music Video Volunteers will collaborate with students to produce a music video showcasing their architectural concepts, offering guidance in filming, editing, and production.

  • Friday: Presentations and Awards Volunteers will assist in organizing and coordinating the final presentations, celebrating students' achievements and honoring their creativity with awards.

Our ask: Volunteers must commit to being present for the entire day, ensuring continuity and support for our students throughout each session.

Background checks will be performed for all volunteers to ensure the safety and well-being of our participants.

Volunteer training sessions will be provided to equip volunteers with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful impact during the camp.

Join us in inspiring the next generation of architects and artists! Sign up now to be part of this incredible journey at the intersection of hip hop and architecture. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of young creatives in our community!
